It seems we are gravitating back to the Patience Jonathan days when accusations were rife that Nigeria was been ruled by an invisible hand in the Aso Rock Villa. This time the same scenario seem to be playing out but at the state level as reports emerged recently that the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, had called on the governor of Adamawa state (her home state) to replace his male Commissioner for Women Affairs with a woman.
Logical as her demand would seem, one can only hope that it does not grow into an untamed monster calling the shots at the seat of power at the Villa.
Buhari does not leave an impression of one that can be bullied around by his wife though but you hardly can tell.
