While responding to a question alleging he had had dealings with the PDP during the Goodluck Jonathan era, Pastor Usani remarked " God forbid". This led to PDP senators making his screening process a bit more difficult than the ' Nigerian standard' by pointing out the absence of tax clearance papers and asset declaration certificate in the documents he submitted.
