EFCC CHAIRMAN, IBRAHIM LAMORDE HAS BEEN SACKED

Reports have emerged that Ibrahim Lamorde, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC has been removed from office. Lamorde was sighted around the Aso Rock Villa today in what is presumed to be his last meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Lamorde took over from Farida Waziri as Chairman of Nigeria's anti-graft agency. He has been accused in recent times by some concerned bodies of complacency in the mismanagement of resources.
He has been replaced in the interim by a senior officer in the commission.
