No fewer than seven girls were burned to death when their hostel went up in flames in the dead of night.
The fire at Government Secondary School, Jogana occurred at the school's largest hostel while the students were asleep but school authorities say the cause of the fire was still unknown.
Aside the dead, 21 students were seriously injured and have been admitted in hospital.
