NORTH and SOUTH KOREA TO MEET FOR TALKS

South Korea has accepted to meet and talk with North Korea as the two Koreas continue to intensify efforts at a more amicable relationship between themselves. The meeting will in hold in South Korea's truce village of Panmunjom.

The talks is scheduled to hold on Thursday, November 26' barring any changes from either side. The meeting will mark the first time since August, when the two sides agree to meet amid rising tensions between them.

Relationship between the two not-too-friendly nations strained farther earlier in August when South Korea blamed its Northern half of a land mine explosion in the neutral area of the DMZ. The blast injured two South Korean soldiers but the North denied responsibility for that.

As a prelude to the recent agreement, families separated after the 1950-1953 Korean War held emotional reunions in October.
