SIERRA-LEONE NOW EBOLA FREE

Wild jubilations have greeted the declaration of Sierra Leone as Ebola free by the World Health Organization. The announcement followed the absence of new cases of the disease after forty-two days of monitoring of the West African country.
At least 4,000 deaths were recorded in the country in the wake of the outbreak. The declaration was attended by  President Ernest Bai Koroma and United Nations World Health Organization representative Anders Nordstrom.
