The Court of Appeal in Abuja has dismissed a case brought before it by president of the Nigeria senate challenging the case of corruption levelled against him by the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
The court ruled that "the Code of Conduct Tribunal is a court of criminal jurisdiction albeit a court of limited jurisdiction".
