In reaction to allegations of acts of sodomy, the Kano state government has set up a 14 man committee to ascertain the veracity of reports emanating from Hassan Ibrahim Gwarzo Secondary School for Boys.
The committee headed by Professor Abubakar Mustapha is to also investigate claims that the school's management had foreknowledge of this occurrence. The committee is expected to turn in reports of its finding in two weeks.
