CHOOSE ON WHOSE SIDE YOU BELONG: LAGOS PDP TELLS JAMES FALEKE

Lagos chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has reminded the now controversial Deputy Governorship candidate in the concluded Kogi state governorship elections, James Faleke that he cannot be here and there at the same time.

James Faleke is currently a lawmaker in Federal House of Assembly. He represents Ikeja Federal Constituency in Lagos state. James had hoped to become the deputy governor of Kogi state at least until 2019 before the equalizer, death, snapped off life from his party's governorship candidate, Abubakar Audu making way for the party to replace the late Audu with the runner up in the primaries.

To this decision, Faleke protested and insisted he was not going to be present for swear-in as a deputy governor rather than the governor. But his continued occupation of his seat in the Federal House of Assembly has prompted a call from the opposition PDP for the leadership of the House and the Independent National Electoral Commission to "exhibit non-partisanship in the matter by making public its unequivocal stance on the proprietary or otherwise of Faleke's continued membership of the House even after transferring his voter details to Kogi state"

The PDP has given a seven day ultimatum to the APC to execute his demands.
