President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria is expected to hold the first media chat by his administration. The media chat will hold in the presidential villa, Aso Rock, Abuja on Wednesday 30th December, 2015.
This will be the first since the berthing of the new administration and although it is not yet clear if the president would entertain questions from the public thru telephone calls or social media platforms, many hopes that critical topics such as the current fuel scarcity, continued decline of the naira against the dollar, the fight against corruption will make the priority spots on the presidents chat.
Other areas of public concern the president would be expected to address would include the fight against insurgency in the North East, the rescue of the adopted Chibok girls, continued detention of the leader of the Independent People of Biafra, the Zaria killings and many more.
The presidential chat will enjoy live broadcast on select channels on terrestrial and digital bands beginning from 7pm.
